Program IRA for Individuals Investing in KBS-Sponsored Investments

Sterling Trust serves as an IRA custodian for individuals that invest in KBS-sponsored investments using qualified retirement funds from an Individual Retirement Account (IRA) or other qualified retirement plan. 

Through KBS’s arrangement with Sterling Trust, the IRA establishment fee will be paid by KBS provided that:

  • A current publicly registered KBS-sponsored investment is purchased and held within this IRA, and
  • Only publicly traded or registered securities are held within this IRA.

A Program IRA for KBS-sponsored investments offers these benefits —

  • The ability to hold KBS-sponsored investments plus any other publicly offered or registered investments (except precious metal holdings)

  • A flexible distribution schedule that lets the IRA accountholder choose the day of the month or quarter to receive IRA account withdrawals (with free distributions if sent by ACH!)
